The Irish Pest Control Skillnet is now the principal training arm and training provider for the pest control sector in Ireland and has been given full support by the industry representative bodies in this capacity.

The pest control industry in Ireland is predominantly made up of small, owner/manager type operations. The sector, however, is becoming increasingly complex and subject to regulations at national and EU level. there is a clear need for a structured training framework that has the backing, and utilises the combined expertise, of the sector as a whole.

There is funding between 60% - 90% available to all member companies towards training cost.
